Volunteering

Schooner Quinnipiack is always looking to add to it's pool of volunteers. Volunteers and Interns help in the sailing and maintenance of the vessel. During the off-season volunteers help in down-rigging and winter maintenance of all the ships rigging and equipment. In the Summer volunteers help with the schooner's up-rigging and sailing. Most labor can be unskilled. Training is provided.

The volunteer program includes a sail training program where participants will go through a check-off list of skills that will be taught by our professional crew. These are skills that can be carried over to other tall ships.
