Membership

Your Schooner Inc membership helps develop innovative, hands-on environmental education programs that engage, inspire and motivate people of all ages to understand the importance of Long Island Sound, their impact on this vital ecosystem, and to nurture within them a sense of stewardship to protect Long Island Sound for the future.

Membership Benefits:
  • Summer Program discounts (Family membership and greater)
  • Passes to sail aboard the Quinnipiack (number of passes vary based on membership level)
  • Quarterly newsletter Waterline
  • Discounts and advanced notice of special programs and activities
  • Opportunities to volunteer onboard the S/V Quinnipiack, on the shore, or in the office/classroom
  • Satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to protect Long Island Sound for the future

Types of Membership:
  • Student: $15 (high school and college students) includes 1 free pass on the Quinnipiack
  • Individual: $35 includes 1 free pass on the Quinnipiack
  • Family: $60 includes 2 free passes on the Quinnipiack and discounts on summer programs
  • Mariner: $100-$250 includes Family membership benefits plus a Quinnipiack Hat
  • Bo's'n: $250-$500 includes Mariner membership benefits plus a Quinnipiack T-Shirt
  • Pilot: $500-$1000 includes Bo's'n membership benefits plus two hours at the helm of the Quinnipiack
  • Captain: $1000 and above includes Pilot membership plus "Captain For A Day" and a dinner with our Captain or a single camp scholarship presented in your name
